Vouch.io is a company headquartered in Atlanta, USA but operating in a virtual model with staff globally located, and we're looking to extend our team.

We are seeking an energetic, skilled, and passionate Security Analyst to join our team at Vouch.io. In this role, you will work closely with our design and engineering teams to identify vulnerabilities and provide fixes in the architecture of the Vouch.io product line. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of Linux, IoT, Blockchain and Cloud Computing technologies, as well as a passion for security.

Experience & Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development of technical documentation for consumption by internal teams as well as clients.
  • Assist in the analysis and development of technical architecture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, product managers, and security experts, to identify and mitigate potential security risks of our products and services.
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in relevant penetration testing and vulnerability assessment techniques.
  • Develop in-house tools for automating vulnerability assessments using open-source and closed-source frameworks.
  • Conduct research on various security standards and compliance policies.
  • Create clear and comprehensive documentation to support the solutions to security risks and weaknesses.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on best practices for privacy and security.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated aptitude for rapid assimilation of complex ideas, frameworks, and architecture.
  • Strong aptitude for penetration testing and vulnerability assessment.
  • Proficiency in identifying and mitigating security weaknesses.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C and Python.
  • Proficiency with Linux, Windows, and Mac OS systems.
  • Familiarity with Blockchain technology, Internet of Things (IoT) and their associated security challenges.
  • Familiarity with data protection, security, and policies like GDPR and CCPA.
  • Familiarity with system-on-a-chip (SoC) and hardware security modules.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to break down complex concepts.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
