We are seeking an energetic, skilled, and passionate Software Engineer to join our team at Vouch.io. In this role, you will work closely with our design and engineering teams to create core logic components for SDK, API and Backend uses. Using Clojure, ClojureScript, Java, and other technologies. Candidates should be enthusiastic about functional programming as this is our primary stack.

Experience & Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop the core logic of our products using Clojure, ClojureScript, Java, and JavaScript.
  • Collaborate with UI developers and infrastructure engineers to integrate backend services.
  • Optimize backend logic for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Ensure the quality and stability of backend logic through rigorous testing and monitoring.
  • Enthusiasm about learning Clojure & ClojureScript, our primary stack.
  • Drive to work as part of a highly functioning team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and implement new features and functionalities.
